Tired yet? You’ve got plenty of unique geographical features to take in first. There’s Mount Teide National Park, Europe’s largest lava tube system in the Cueva vel Viento and the lush highlands of Anaga Rural Park. Mount Teide National Park
Your number 1 spot for views
Home to Spain’s highest peak, Mount Teide National Park is a volcanic treat. Mount Teide itself dominates the national park, and at 3,718 metres high it’s the third highest volcanic structure in the world. Take the cable car up to the top for a unique experience and unrivalled views across the canaries. But the volcano itself is only part of the wonders here. The National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to unique flora and fauna and outstanding volcanic formations.
Siam Park
Slide into a Thai adventure
Siam Park has been named the world’s best water park. Expect high speed water roller coasters (Saifa), 200m hybrid water slides (Kinnaree), Mekong Rapids, freefall water slides (Tower of Power), and volcano light shows as you slide (Vulcano). There’s also plenty of family areas and the biggest collection of Thai-themed buildings outside Thailand.

Loro Parque
A parrot paradise
Voted the best zoo in Europe and consistently called out as the best in the world, Loro Parque is a treat for a nature and animal lovers. Based over an area of 135,000 square metres it’s home to the world’s largest and most diverse parrot reserve. Plus, you’ll see the lions, tigers, hippos, killer whales, penguins, sharks, alligators and turtles too.
Los Gigantes
The most dramatic cliffs you’ll see. Anywhere
Los Gigantes translates to “Cliffs of the Giants” and you’ll soon see why. Shooting out from the sea, these vertical walls of basalt were formed by volcanic activity. And there are a few ways to properly check them out. From the water on a boat trip or kayak let’s you see their imposing beauty up close. Or you can check out their views by walking from the town of Los Gigantes and winding up and along the cliffs themselves.

Golf de Sur
Perfect your swing
Call out four, practice your putting and perfect your swing at this 27-hole championship golf course. If you’re a keen golfer or want to improve your game, there’s no better place. Just make sure you spend less time in the sand here than you do on the beach. As one of the best 50 golf courses in Spain, you’ll need to bring your A game.
