Historically one of our most popular money-saving tools, Cheapest Month is back and even better than before – making it easier to see the absolute cheapest month of the year to visit a destination when searching for ‘flexible dates’ and the cheapest price per month.
How to use Skyscanner’s ‘Whole Month’ search
Follow this step-by-step guide to search for a month’s worth of flight results for your desired destinations around the world. That way, you can choose the best and cheapest month to save on your next trip.
Step 1. Enter your departure and destination cities or countries.
Step 2. Click on the departure date box and select Whole month in the pop-up calendar on Skyscanner.
Step 3. Choose your desired travel month, then click the blue Search button.
That’s it! Now you can find cheap flights.
Step 4. To see all flight prices in calendar view, select Calendar on the right side of your screen.
Step 5. For an at-a-glance price comparison of the flights available, select the Chart tab on the right.
Once you’ve found dates and prices that work for you, there’s only one thing left to do, and that’s to book your trip! Where are you headed to next?
Discover the best flight prices of the month while you’re on-the-go
If you prefer to book your travels while you’re on-the-go, download the Skyscanner app. This free app can be used to search the best flight prices for the entire month on your smartphone, just like on desktop. Here’s how searching by the entire month works on the app:
- Download the Skyscanner app on your Android or iOS device.
- Open the app and select the ‘Explore everywhere’ option.
- Type in your departure destination and under that select ‘Anytime’ for dates of travel.
- The next screen will be a calendar view of the entire month and click ‘Select Month’ on the right-hand side. Flight searches for that month will automatically be selected. Then, click ‘Done’ on the bottom right.
- The lowest flight prices for each travel destination from your departure city will come up for you to search on the next screen. Just click on your desired country and start searching for your perfect travel deal.
