The airport also features special events, like live music at Caffè Nero in Terminal 2, and seasonal programmes, such as fun Easter events for kids.

While Vancouver International Airport is not as massive as Heathrow Airport, it is the second-busiest airport in Canada. Travellers are treated to an impressive airport interior with a distinct British Columbian decor that features Pacific Northwest Coast and Aboriginal art, as well as hues of blue and greens that reflect the colours of the sea and sky.
There are two terminals, the Main Terminal and the South Terminal. All international flights arrive and depart from the Main Terminal with passengers transiting through Concourse D. The quickest way to Downtown Vancouver is with The Canada Line rapid transit rail, which takes 30 minutes, or 15 minutes to downtown Richmond. Note that there is an extra CA$5 AddFare on top of the regular zone fare amount for travel from the airport.
What You Need to Know
For international flights, passengers should plan to arrive at London Heathrow three hours before departure. To be allowed entry into Canada, citizens of the United Kingdom must have Electronic Travel Authorizations (eTAs) for tourist purposes. An eTA is a simple document that can be applied for online and costs only CA$7.
