Bug Problems
The next day we drove to the Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at SeaWorld for our visit to SeaWorld the following day. During the night, I become aware of being bitten by some sort of insect as I slept, although it was never uncomfortable enough for me to become fully awake.
The next day, I awoke with a number of bites on my body. (See pictures.) My wife was also bitten. Fortunately, my son was sleeping in the pullout bed in the main room of our suite and was unharmed.
I reported our issue to the front desk and they moved us to another room. I also showed them the bites on my legs. When I asked for some sort of compensation for the issue at check out the next day, they told me that they had checked the room for insects and had not found any. They said that since I had not had my bites independently verified by medical personnel, they would not compensate me.
I don’t believe their response is reasonable. There is no way that I could have had my bites verified considering our SeaWorld tour started early on the same day and we flew out early the next day after our park visit. I have tried to get them to reconsider, but they have not budged.
I am really confused by Marriott’s response here. I am a long-time and frequent customer of theirs both for personal and business travel and am not likely to make up a story to save a few dollars on a night’s stay.

Few days in Orlando
Reception staff helpful and we had to pay for parking per night.
Our room was lovely and clean but not a view. Bottles of water in room but at a charge.
There is a small shop and you walked through towards to pool which we didn’t use.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice including hot eggs and potatoes and waffles, toast and porridge etc.
Great place for going to water parks but need a car to go further as there is only a few places close by.
