Excellent room and hotel.
Lots of fun and screaming noise in my room with the kids having fun at the pool. It stored sound 10 pm. That was fine mostly.
I asked for dinner, then breakfast room service. The hot food arrived quickly, and was delicious.
Perfect overnight stay.

We arrived to discover the entire parking area gad construction vehicles. We assumed this was due to the new Chic' Filet being built next door. Upon entry we discovered the construction was the interior of the hotel. In the condition, it was not going to be a stay free from noise or clutter and while there were some amenities open (like the bar) others were not open (like the hot tub. ) has we known this prior, we would have chosen a different hotel/ location.

Our whole reason for picking a hotel in Lake Oswego was so that we were staying in a really nice hotel. First thing that we noticed was that they were actively doing construction that wasn't at all posted anywhere when I booked my reservation (I would have picked a different place had I known this). Then we checked in, went up to our room and we were given the wrong room, not the room that we purposely chose. Went down to get cards to the right room and the person tried telling us that they didn't have what we booked available. She finally placed us in the correct type of room. Found out that the pool was closed during the time we would be there (also not posted when we booked the reservation and should have been. The bathroom in our room was a bit of a disappointment as well due to the hair that had been left on the floor of the shower. The MOST frustrating part however was that we were placed right next to the housekeepers room and were woken up by their extreme loudness at 6:30 am. We travel A LOT and stay at a lot of hotels all over and have never stayed in a place that had this many issues. The only thing positive that we can say is the older gentleman at the front desk overnight was super helpful, he was the best part of our stay. Honestly we expected way more from a hotel in Lake Oswego.

Construction and remodeling in progress was a distraction. However when completed it will be WONDERFUL. Staff were helpful and good in the cafe was very good.

This hotel is under massive construction which was not disclosed on the website when I booked. The hotel was torn up, dirty and dusty. It was so loud I could barely hear the receptionist in the lobby due to jack hammers. Construction workers were everywhere. Many of them smoke so it reeked of cigarettes outside the hotel and in the lobby. The room had some issues, non functional tv (which they fixed), sagging mattresses, very cold room even with the heat to 70F. There was a light that shined into the room at night from outside making it hard to sleep. The blinds would not fully close to block out this light. To add insult to the sub par room and construction issue, there was a $10 parking fee to park in an outside lot and the $75 pet fee was higher than most hotels. It was almost $300 for our one night at this hotel with room, taxes and fees. This is a rip off, especially in light of the construction going on. Shame on this hotel for misleading their clients and not informing them of the construction which has a huge impact on one's stay. We have stayed at other hotels where they were remodeling, but the room price was reduced and they comped us meal vouchers and other complimentary items. This hotel offered nothing and they do not care about the guest experience. In light of this, they do not deserve your business. I would recommend you stay in a different hotel in this area that does not have these issues as this construction is far from over.
