Avoid this hotel until they become polite and caring

You ask for extra towels. The blunt answer is "no." Apparently not a single extra duvet or blanket to augment the lousiest and thinnest bed cover you could never wish for. I never take pictures of establishments but I did this time. Now for the rub:
There are two women on the front desk. A wonderful middle-aged Thai woman new to the business who exhibits poise, courtesy and compassion. Then there's the most abusive, arrogant Burmese youngster who shouted repeatedly at us. Because we had moved from one hotel to hers, and then ran into her dripping arrogance, she called us crazy, called us rude, called us stupid. We recorded this.
Shouting that she had two years experience in the hotel industry, that the Thai woman only had three days, and pointing to her temple citing that she "had a brain" (and by implication we did not) she proved to be the nastiest and most vile of hotel workers we have ever met. Having managed various hotels, I can honestly say her display of self-importance and customer abuse is the best example of why she should never ever work in hospitality again.
The pool: toothpaste, make-up, dirty underwear and towels adorn the edges of the poll deck; yes, this is adjacent to where the housekeepers live. Unlit and therefore dim, we did not want to hazard a dip, because this pool is likely a large bathtub for the staff. See the pics.
Every hallways has mops and buckets left permanently in them.
We were checked in and then found the room uncleaned, and we had to return to the front desk and wait while the Burmese Python shouted into the phone. She likes to shout, she does.
Our online booking was entirely refunded, we shifted to the Acqua (worthwhile to be sure and at the same price roughly as the dump we herein discuss).
Management:
Take note:
This review will reach thousands of people and every single one of them will take note themselves of your dilapidated hotel.
Maybe don't have the janitor sleeping on the lobby couch all night long?
Maybe clean the elevator once a year? (see pic).
Maybe sell the hotel if you don't care about the paying customer.
Certainly remove the youngster with the nasty mouth.

First time I sleep with my clothes and shoes on in a hotel bed!!!

Before I start writing my review, I want to say that it is only from my impressions and this should be clear... because I may be a little more spoiled than other guests at the hotel. But I must point out that this is my first time and I am no longer young that I have slept at night with my clothes and shoes on because my room had a lot of small ants of the smallest type but that ran very fast, so I could not take any risks. The room I was given had a TV with a remote control that did not have batteries. The safe in the room is not connected to anything at all and you could just steal it. My towel was so old and tattered that I had to take a picture of it for you. I could not believe that in 2025 there are hotels in the world that would give a guest a towel like that. The bathroom was relatively clean but the room was dirty and very dusty. The balcony is filthy and the noise from the street is unbearable even with the window closed. The pool at the hotel is so small that it is a joke, because in the pictures it looks much bigger. I ran away from here the next morning.
