Traditional, cosy and relax
We had a very relaxing evening as you can enjoy the hammoks next to the river with peacefull music.
Best was the warm welcoming of the family! The owner came to pick us up from the peer and brough ua to see the view point and have dinner in a traditional street food plaza.
The kid in the house is lovely, speaks English already and very nice to foreigners.
It is nearer if you get a ferry to Songserm pier but if you arrive with Lomprayah you can have a transfer for 100 baths then take a little boat until the home stay.
The breakfast was very complete, traditional and tasty, perfect to start a lovely day.
We definitively recommend this homestay to any travellers who are looking for a cosy place!

Absolutely fantastic unique homestay in a fishing village
The Homestay is run by Yah (who speaks great English) and who comes from a fishing family. It is located about 9km from Chumphon and is extremely easy to get to - direct transport the airport or pickup from the bus or train in Chumphon town, and located very close to the ferries to the Islands. Well worth staying slightly out of town because you will be staying with locals in a small friendly village. But the best thing is the location - right on the waterfront! Relax in a hammock and watch life on the water pass you by. I love boats so this is a wonderful place for me. Firstly you have to cross the river by small boat (10 - 20THB) to get to the Homestay. The boat will pull up to the veranda and you are there! Sometimes the family fishing boat is moored there to and it’s possible to climb aboard and have a look at it as well. Accommodation is basic but surprisingly comfortable, and the air condition is very effective. If you want eat at the Homestay dinner is 200 THB per person, breakfast is included in the price (vegitarian, wheat and dairy free wasn’t a problem for them!).
I have travelled to many parts of the world and I can honestly say that this place is unique, I can completely recommend it. I’m definately coming back again and again!
