Great hotel in a great location
Visited for a week in March, quiet season, to run the Malaga half marathon.
Room was nice on the 5th floor with a sea view and you could see Benalmadena marina in the distance, walk in shower was nice. Fridge and safe were free. Beds were huge.
Buffet breakfast was nice and they cook omelettes for you. Dinner is buffet too, with a large selection and show cooking of steaks , fish etc. Staff are helpful and friendly.
There was entertainment on too in the bar and the drinks were a reasonable price.
The location is right in the sea front, with a door from the garden out on to the promenade, and the dining room has a view straight out to the front too, so you can watch the world go by. It was too soon in the year for us to try the pool, but it was open, and people were sunbathing on the sunbeds. There is a gym too.
There always seemed to be taxis available outside, or you could walk about a mile up the hill to El Pinillo station to get the train to Malaga , of Fuengirola. Plenty of shops and bars nearby too. Aldi about 10 mins walk away.

Perfect spot to relax. Everything available within 100 meters.
Rooms and communal areas spacious. For breakfast you are presented with an array of varied and good food. There are plentyof good restaurants and bars in the immediate area. Convenient for bus and Taxi transport. €25 euro taxi fare from Malaga Airport.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Just got back home after a fab week there. Fantastic location. Spotless clean. Lovely staff. Please say thank you to the lovely cleaning lady who kept our room beautiful. Room 418. A big thanks to everyone for a fab holiday. Oh and the food was lovely too xx

Very Enjoyable Holiday At The Pez Espada
Just returned from our 4th visit to the Pez Espada…obviously we like the hotel / area. We were given the room that we asked for… 3rd time…speaks volumes. The reception staff are very efficient and helpful…quick to deal with any requirements. The room was quiet and clean…bed very comfortable…roomy bathroom with excellent shower. The room was cleaned every day…bedding changed frequently… by very hard working staff.
Walking through the hotel…it is spotless and tastefully decorated. The restaurant area is excellent…evenings you are greeted by a lovely young girl…polite, friendly and chatty. Breakfasts were excellent…plenty of choice. The evening meals on the whole were good…fresh, warm food, salads..plenty of choice.
The restaurant staff were very friendly…hard working…keen to please!
The bar staff were friendly…quick to serve you.
There was evening entertainment…to suit various tastes.
The Pez Espada is in an excellent position…straight on to the prom at the back…easy walking to La Carihuela / Torremolinos one way…Benalmadena Marina the other way.
There are bars, shops,supermarkets…chemists near to the hotel. Local transport is easy to access…plenty of destinations to go to.
We will be returning to the Pez Espada…a big thankyou to all the staff who make this a very good hotel.

Amazing Hotel with People who are kind, considerate and attentive.Arrived on the Christmas Eve, a wonderful welcome as always.Lovely room with an excellent view.Enjoyed the Gala dinner,despite receiving some concerning news from home.Everyone gathered round and enclosed me in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble, particularly Christina and Raquel who have young children.Ladies you are awesome. Every member of staff supported me.Then over new year I was unwell and again nothing to much trouble. All members of staff and their families, were there to assist.Special thanks to Angela, housekeeping- amazing lady. Special thanks to Reception and Dining room staff always offering food and drinks.5 days I felt so ill but everyone went out of their way to assist.Special thanks to Sue and Keith and Russ and Jo, checking in on me. This hotel takes some negative reviews at times. Everyone must of coarse speak as they feel.But for me this family Pez Espada are/ were and have been the most amazing and kindest people. When I lost my husband I thought I could not face our wonderful Pez, but the management and staff are the best, every department takes care of my holidays from start to finish. You cannot put a price on that.This will remain my destination of choice while I am able. To each and every one of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
