We have not stayed. I'm talking about the restaurant: great.

We have not stayed. We have been to the restaurant a couple of times. The staff is 10: friendly, natural, efficient,.... and the typical Mallorcan food is magnificent. Also, at good prices. We have eaten in a kind of garden with natural trees. I highly recommend it.

Room was nice, the rest unfortunately not

In our room I felt comfortable. It was modern, clean and tidy and surprised me positively. But that was it. The courtyard with its great trees was only beautiful at first glance. Because where there are trees there are also birds, as you know. And these have left their mark. The floor in the courtyard was littered with bird droppings, partly on the chairs and tables. The pool area is unlovingly designed and seemed unwelcoming. The breakfast and dinner was of inferior quality and could not convince in any way in terms of taste. We had booked half board. I didn't eat anything for the first time in a hotel, except for some fresh fruit, the coffee was an imposition. The two ladies in the service at the tables were extremely attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, only the room and the mentioned ladies were able to convince and deserved 4 stars. Therefore no recommendation.

Loud crowded area

Clean hotel and spa. Friendly staff.
Note: German style buffet breakfast. German patio. German tv. German pubs around.
Important: Loud crowded area. Crowded beach. Single rooms facing night club that runs 24/7.
If your plan is to get to know Mallorca’s culture and to relax at night, you should consider stay somewhere else in Cala Ratjada.

Worst service i have experienced in my life

We had ordered a room for two people, but upon arrival we were told that we had only payed for one person. The clerk sitting behind the desk was extremely rude and we decided to stay four nights instead of the pre paid six.
When we discovered that we didn't get a "pool and garden view" or the double bed (in stead two single beds) we decided to ask the aforementioned clerk why and he exploded and rudely asked if we should just cancel the whole stay if we didn't like what we got.
I have never ever in my life had such bad service at a hotel and we both dread walking past the front office every day.
