luxury hotel in the centre of Krakow
We do travel quite a lot and have been to more than 30 countries, some several times and different places, so the number of hotels we stayed in, I think, went over 200.
Going to crak, found that 1.5 hours away there is a spa town in the mountains - Zakopane. Naturally, we decided to go there first. That's what I'm writing about. To the fact that in the city of Zakapane we chose the hotel of the chain Bahled, and so impressed they found it in Kraków, without the slightest hesitation, immediately booked.
We came by taxi from buried (we were so comfortable). The hotel arrived at about 1 p.m. Rooms were ready and a welcome glass of sparkling was waiting at the reception.
We had rooms on different floors, one above the other. The rooms are gorgeous. A big comfortable bed. Long poof, two chairs, table. Huge windowsill and opening windows! It was important to us!
The bathroom is just wow. What a finish! What a great bathtub and a big one-- sitting together after a long walk is really cool. And if you also specify that the soap utensils in the bathroom from the French company gerlian, and also in large containers, then generally no more supplements
We even went to the spa- a very pleasant little pool and with a Jacuzzi function and a waterfall. It's all finished like a sheikh's palace, all in gold. Clear. It's gorgeous. 2 small saunas. Nice towels. A lot of chlorine in the water, but it's more of a necessity. If you're lucky and there aren't any other guests at the time, there's a total sense of exclusivity at all.
We walked a lot and spent very little time in the hotel itself. But it was enough to impress.
Located in a very quiet location, to the castle minutes 3 walk in a slow step.
Chic lobby, downstairs cigar room and bar with amazing cocktails
There are a lot of shops, restaurants. We even went to a Michelin sushi restaurant. Who would have thought it would be in Krakow that we would go for sushi, albeit with a Michelin star?
By the way, we booked a room at the hotel without breakfast , we had 3 nights and a night check-out was expected, and the price for breakfast is stated 30 euros, so we decided to look on the spot. Naturally they didn't want to go anywhere outside and took breakfast at the hotel. I'm not sure 30 euros per person in Poland is a justified price, but breakfast is good. And juices and pastries and granola and slices and hot. It's delicious and great.
By the way, the restaurant at the hotel (gawi) has high ratings and reviews and we made a reservation and one dinner was here. The setting is very refined. All tables are booked. A lot of guests come outside, that is, not hotel residents. The cocktails were just wow! The kitchen was delicious, but it didn't leave a feeling of anything amazing. We ordered foie gras - I love this portion, I ordered from many restaurants in the world - this one was weak, we took smoked fried cheese, jams and potatoes, which of all places in Poland were less successful. Chocolate dessert is absolutely brilliant. Got 2!
By the way, I can advise from the bottom of my heart a very popular local restaurant-starka- name in Russian so that they do not consider advertising. Local real delicious cuisine, where we even went back one more time. The hotel is 15 minutes' walk away, in the old town. It's delicious. Worth finding and booking in advance
Krakow made a very good impression on us. And it snowed, completing the feeling of a fairy tale. We walked a lot. Had a great time at the hotel. The hotel is not cheap but worth its money. If we go back to Kraków, it's only here - definitely!

Great hotel, lovely products in the shower.
Really lovely hotel, spent 6 nights here. nice views of the river, amazing room, spent time in the spa area, good choice at breakfast, short walk from town, or get a Bolt if you’ve got tired feet. Thanks for the complimentary bottle of Prosecco for my birthday.

Stunning hotel and amazing staff
My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for valentines day for us and we've ust got back after a 3 night stay. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we couldn't fault anything. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Our room was stunning, every part of the hotel was stunning. We used the spa area twice and that was perfect too. Cocktails in the cellar bar and food at breakfast, all perfect. I honestly can't fault this hotel one bit. Definitely deserves the 5 star ranking with 5 star staff. We will be returning
