Look forward to returning!
This was my first time in Manila (although not my partner’s) and we chose to stay at New World initially for its location across from Greenbelt. This was a big perk of the hotel, in addition to being in Makati which is very central to other cities such as BGC and Mandaluyong. However, it exceeded much more than just location.
We were in a Residence Club room, which I would highly recommend. We arrived slightly early coming from Okura in Newport City and were quickly shown up to the amazing Residence Club lobby on level 24. It was a very stemless check in process and were able to have an early check in free of charge.
The room itself was very modern and clean, it offered ample space for our stay of 6 nights. I especially loved the sliding door from the bathroom to bedroom to provide a more spacious feel. I believe all Residence Club rooms are on level 23, 24 and 25 which are all connected through an open staircase with amazing views which was great.
Facilities were excellent, I used the pool a couple of times, was nice for lounging and had a small bar that was great to get some wine.
The biggest highlight had to be the Residence Club lounge. It was such an amazing space to retreat too after a day of shopping and relax with a cup of tea. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and a small buffet. I love that it was all A La Carte as I am not a huge fan of buffets. Biggest shout out to Wilson and Alex in the lounge who really made our stay. They were both so friendly, warm and happy to have a chat. They both had excellent customer service even knowing our orders!
Overall I can’t recommend New World enough and cannot wait to book in again when I return to Manila.

New World Residence Club Stay
The hotel room is well kept and contemporary. It is clean and the pillows and duvet are soft. The bathroom is huge and has different kinds of amenities in order that you don’t have to bring most. There is soap body wash and shampoo plus lotion.
Breakfast:
The breakfast in the buffet is satisfactory. There are not too many options but there is enough for a breakfast to lunch with dessert meal. The residence club breakfast on the other hand is more refined. There is less people so it is quiet. While there is a buffet, you usually order the breakfast meal from a menu, as long as you are still hungry they have unli meals basically. Cate and Alex were there to help everyone with order taking and drinks. They were very proactive and dedicated.
Residence Club:
It is open 6am-11pm. Usually it would have tea coffee and milk, plus cookies and sparkling water. At cocktail hour around 4pm they have unli beers and more food to offer.
