if you want a calm and chill hostel with a very comfortable, at home vibe this is lovely
I can only recommend this hostel. It's very quiet and chill. If you want to avoid a party hostel this is the one. Also a big plus is the insanely amazing buffet breakfast, it has a big selection which helps when you struggle with altitude sickness. The whole vibe is very comfortable i really loved my stay here.

A good Hostel near the Plaza
The place has a very nice decor, I was in a private room with bathroom. The room was small but clean and the bed very comfortable. It includes buffet breakfast, few options per that was fine, good staff care. This hostel is very close to the square and makes things much easier.

Great option to stay!
To begin with, I had a pleasant experience with Yoshi and Liz at the reception, they are super friendly and caring for the needs of the guest, I was there several days and they resolved many doubts of the area.
The location is excellent, it is on a pedestrian street with restaurants and bars very close, half a street from Plaza de Armas.
The decor is very nice. The toilet good, the beds super nice and curtained to give privacy, although if you touch upstairs, the stairs are not very comfortable to climb, that in the shared rooms.
The water in the showers is very good, that is very important to me.
The common areas are very nice.
They offer breakfast with coffee, infusions, fruit, egg, salad, pasta, cereal, milk and bread.
The towel has extra cost.
There is a street dog who is allowed to sleep inside, I found it very nice to be treated with respect.
There is a lot of noise at night in the busy area but with some earplugs I slept very well, it was not a problem for me.

Worst experience, would never recommend
I don't understand why the reviews and ratings are so high.
Of course, I know that in foreign countries, I can't expect the same level of service and values as in Korea.
However, even though I booked a private room at a much higher price than the dormitory, I had an unpleasant experience where the water tap suddenly went out while I was taking a shower.
But the female staff at the counter did not apologize at all for the parts that made us feel uncomfortable and surprised.
Even though she can speak English, she never apologized.
and she laughed at us in an unpleasant situation and said she didn't know what to do.
Afterwards, a male staff member fixed the broken faucet, but we still did not receive an apology and since we were traveling with my mother, we were worried that the same thing might happen again, so we requested a refund. But They just kept repeating that they couldn't give refunds and there was no apology until the end.
It was my first day in Peru, but this incident left a very bad first impression of Peru.
It wasn't all bad, and the female staff member at the restaurant when I was eating breakfast was very friendly.
After checking out, we left our luggage for two days to go to Machu Picchu.
When I first said I wanted to keep 4 pieces of luggage, the staff at the counter said the cost of checking the luggage is 10 soles per 2 pieces for a private room and 10 soles per piece for a dormitory room.
So he said that if I keep 4 pieces of luggage, it would be 60 soles for two days.
We said we would keep only 3 and not one, so we kept them, but the price was still 60 soles
I protested about it, but they just said that it was okay as long as it was done according to the rules, so I should pay the fee.
If you use this accommodation, I would like to tell you to definitely record everything and have evidence.
I recommend that you reconsider whether you really need to stay here.
I hope you don't have an unpleasant experience like us, just by looking at the price and location.

물론 외국에서는 한국과 같은 수준의 서비스와 가치를 기대할 수 없다는 건 압니다.
도미토리보다 훨씬 비싼 가격에 개인실을 예약했는데도 샤워를 하던 중 갑자기 수전이 터지는 불쾌한 경험을 했지만 카운터에 있던 여자 직원은 이부분에 대해 전혀 사과하지 않았습니다.
영어를 할 줄 알면서도 사과는 하지 않았습니다.
그리고 불쾌한 상황에서 우리를 비웃으며 어떻게 해야 할지 모르겠다고 했습니다.(?? 지가 모르면 누가알아)
그 후 남자 직원이 깨진 수도꼭지를 고쳐주었지만 여전히 사과를 받지 못했고 어머니와 함께 여행하는 터라 같은 일이 또 일어날까 봐 걱정되어 환불을 요청했습니다. 하지만 그들은 환불을 할 수 없다고 계속 반복했고 끝까지 사과는 없었습니다.

처음에 짐 4개를 맡고 싶다고 말했을 때, 카운터 직원은 짐을 맡기는 비용이 개인실은 짐 2개당 10솔, 도미토리는 짐 1개당 10솔이라고 말했습니다.
그래서 짐 4개를 맡으면 이틀 동안 60솔이 된다고 말했고,
우리는 짐 1개를 빼고 3개만 맡기겠다고 하고 3개만 맡겼지만 가격은 여전히 60솔이었습니다.
