Watch the bill... correct?
Beautiful bar, but serve a different cocktail than requested and then charge twice as expensive. That's not right.
After two questions, the difference was averaged. That's a cocktail with an aftertaste.

Inattentive staff, too busy causing poor bid quality
The snacks were very tasty. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes before the next snack came, after we asked for this ourselves. We had to inquire twice more if there was another snack. We also had to proactively address the staff ourselves for new tea water, emptying the waste bin and coffee / other drinks.
We sat at the kitchen, and yet we were overlooked. Some of the tea trays were empty, but there were no staff to ask to refill it.
At the checkout they asked if everything had been satisfactory. When I indicated that I was not satisfied because it took a very long time the lady indicated that it was busy. Since I experienced this last time at a high-tea at Manna's, it's no coincidence. It's a shame because you want to be unburdened and that certainly didn't feel like it.
Very unfortunate, because the snacks are very tasty, but I wouldn't go back.

Affable Nijmegen
The location is convenient, within walking distance of the main train station (10 minutes) and the historical centre (15 minutes). Rooms at the hotel face either a noisy road or a courtyard combined with parking. Concerning rooms: by and large the standard number corresponds to the stated description on the website. The big escape in the heat (+30 at eight pm) is air conditioning. Fancy mattress and bed. But still, I would note that the layout is uncomfortable (the location of the shower and toilet). The handwashing sink looks strange, too. Instead of two very uncomfortable chairs, it makes sense to consider giving customers a more comfortable option. Specifically, there was still a light problem in my room, some light bulbs went out. But the lighting is very camera-like in principle, and not designed for people forced to work on a laptop in the evening. There are also questions about the towel design, it's inconvenient, I would even say it's pointless and the towels keep falling off it.
Breakfast is very varied, fresh and delicious. But dinner at the hotel brasserie I wouldn't recommend. In the evening, another team cooks in the kitchen (not the one in the morning) and this affects the quality of the dishes. Dinner in town will be cheaper and better.
And in general the hotel is recommended for booking. Although the price is somewhat high.
