Very clean and comfortable hotel
It is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed it. Bath robes and slippers are provided as well as toothbrush and toothpaste.
An espresso machine is a quality touch. Door code outside means it's safe from passing revellers. Overall 10 out of 10

Malta ... beautiful island for fun! STOP. The hotel is just a few steps from the nightlife and nightlife...newly built hotel with well-appointed, spacious rooms and an immense bathroom. Buffet breakfast on the terrace from which you can admire a beautiful view, small pool at the top with a beautiful view especially at night ... BREAKFAST : well stocked but unfortunately the meats are not covered and therefore to the insects ! ROOM: Our room was cleaned 2 times out of 5 nights and mostly at the reception we asked for change of towels for the reason described above. Wifi present and discreet , the guys at the reception (ERASMUS) courteous, smiling and always available .

stay at jl
Rooms are quite small but clean and nice equipedd, beds are really comfy. There is no blinds so that may affect your sleep bcs hotel window has bright light and you only have curtain.
Housekeeping comes really rare which is really bad thing. We were there from monday till friday and hk went in our room only ONCE and that was on Tuesday. Staff is friendly!
Breakfast is ok but same and small choice everyday. View is beautiful from tge 9th floor.
All in all, nice time, nice rooms. My recommodation for short stay

A good option for Malta’s best nightlife.
Upon arrival friendly staff checked us in. There are steep steps to the reception and the hotel is not at all wheelchair or disability friendly so please bear this in mind if relevant.
The reception staff nearly charged me twice by mistake when checking in, before I awkwardly had to clarify that I had already paid beforehand. This wasn’t a real issue just a slight language barrier.
The rooms are small but comfy and adequate. They are very clean, but despite being brand new, there are signs of a lack of care. The building work at the hotel is incredibly shoddy. Utilities aren’t screwed in correctly, the whole sink unit in our room was completely wonky and the ceiling tiles are slanted and not straight. This hotel was clearly constructed in a hurry and it would not stand up to UK building or health and safety regulations.
The 9th floor features the breakfast bar area. This was the highlight of the hotel. The breakfast staff worked tirelessly and the variety was excellent. There was so much to choose from in such a small hotel and it was rather impressive. The food was brilliantly cooked and very tasty and fresh omelettes could be prepared by staff upon request.
External stairs from the 9th floor led to the rooftop/pool area. This is a very small area with around 4 chairs, a sofa and 2 sun beds. However it never really got busy during our stay and the small pool was beautiful, warm and cozy. Please be weary that there is a small gate next to the pool entrance that leads to a maintenance area containing a sheer drop of around 200 metres. This gate was left unlocked so is a real hazard for children or those partially sighted but can be easily avoided.
We used this hotel as a base to travel Malta by car. There is no parking on sight or free secure parking arranged by the hotel. There is a private secure car park that can be used nearby but this incurs a heavy cost over a week long period. We relied on street parking in Paceville. We regularly got a space near the hotel but it requires a bit of paralleled parking skill and your car will be at risk from drunken youths strolling back from their boozy escapades in the early hours. We got lucky and had no damage to our rental but it felt that we were fortunate.
Overall the hotel is a good option for those visiting Malta or St Julian’s, especially those who visit for the nightlife. We thought the price was generally fair for what you get but if it wasn’t for the excellent breakfast and nice pool on the roof I would have felt a little short changed.
