While a bit off the beaten path, this met all our needs. The staff went so far beyond excellent service. We had a problem that needed police intervention. They sent a staff member to drive us to the police station, acted as interpreter, and then drove us to the train station.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice with a breakfast consisting of Sicilian baked goods, coffee and brought in from a local bakery. We also had a small private terrace. Parking was secure and easy. We participated in an ecotour to see Mt. Etna. The tour picked us up at the hotel, which was very convenient.

The view from the sea view hotel is superb! And the staff super friendly and welcoming. Thanks!
BUT
- there is no breakfast (they leave food in your fridge, that you are supposed to cook)
- NO cleaning afterwards and room service overall
- Location is not ideal - far from the beach, just by the road, the outside area of the hotel is limited, so not great for kids
