Very extensive children's area, not sure it is open every day but I assume on weekends, holidays, etc Great for our grandchildren.
Wife and daughter used the spa at the partner hotel next door and thought it was amazing.

Fine but not great!
We arrived at the hotel on a Thursday afternoon and received a lovely spacious room which opened onto a small patio and garden. The bathroom however was very run down with peeling ceiling and worn wood around the door frames. The wardrobe had adequate space but the doors didn't run easily and I cut my hand a couple of times trying to manouver the doors. The bed however was extremely comfortable and we looked forward to a long comfortable night of sound sleep - ha, it wasn't to be! The doors are like cardboard and we were kept awake the whole night, every night of our 3 night stay (cut from 4 nights) with people running up and down the corridors, checking in and shouting at each other from one room to the other. I don't think the walls were so bad but the doors urgently need to be replaced.
The food was acceptable - nothing great but it was edible and plentiful.
The pool isn't in the hotel grounds (which we knew in advance). It's in the neighbouring country club but what we didn't know and which totally disappointed us was the lack of place to sit in the grounds of the country club to relax. It was basically just a covered swimming pool and a small strip of grass with no sun loungers.
The grounds at the hotel were nice but laid out with tables and chairs and again no sun loungers and completely disappointed us as that had been the purpose of our trip. We cut our stay short from 4 nights to 3 as we didn't see the point of sitting around in the hotel for the whole day having already done that on our first day.
All in all it's a lovely hotel for a weekend break, especially with extended family but unless you plan to use the hotel as a base and go out sightseeing it's not a hotel for holidaying in.
