Best beach resort

One of the best I have stayed in. This is located on beach. You step out of room and are on beach. Beach is clean calm and without any crowd. Staff is one of the most sincere one I have come across and are ready to help you with anything. If you are visiting Konkan/Malvan the you should visit this hotel.

The location is good as sea is nearby. House Keeping is poor and not much responsive. Buffet is so so. Dinner on order is good. Waiters in Dining room are good. Locker of room was broken. The front glasses were not very clean. The transporter contact given by hotel was expansive and arranged transporter from outside by tracing from Net at much lower rate

Could be so much better

We stayed for a week in early March in what was euphemistically called a ‘sea view’ room - a little bit of the ocean was just about visible beyond the swimming pool! The room categories were a mystery!
The room was pretty run-of-the-mill, not bad but not great. The doorbell sounded like a siren, and at night you entered the room in pitch darkness as the patio light was linked to the key card electricity supply. There were gaps between the door and the doorframe; the safe electronics didn’t work, which meant you had to lock the safe with a key which you then carried around with you. The wash basin was cracked and there were no hand towels. They didn’t have a laundry service and one had to borrow a hairdryer from reception. There were only three coat hangers in the room (they did bring more when I asked them), and the aircon was weak and didn’t cool properly. WiFi was often poor, and room lighting was poor.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the monsoon shower in the bathroom was powerful and there was plenty of hot water.
The location is fabulous, the beach gorgeous, ideal for relaxing and switching off! Alas, the hotel pool was tiny.
There were almost no restaurants, so one had to rely on the hotel. The breakfast was horrendous. There were Indian breakfast dishes which were not very nice, there were no juices and no fresh fruit, horrible tea/coffee, the white toast bread was inedible.
Restaurant hours were restricted, dinner wasn’t available before 7.30pm. A lot of dishes on the menu weren’t available, but what was there was often surprisingly good and there was a good variety of food. Often there was a problem in getting a cold drink as the fridge didn’t work, and there was no bottle opener on occasions.
The staff were generally sweet and trying to help, but lacking the tools to do a good job. Sitti especially did her very best, was extremely helpful and used her initiative. Bravo! Most staff didn’t seem to have any training, not surprising seeing the useless, lazy and inept management.
This hotel has so much potential, but needs intelligent and proactive managers.

Superb

I am writing this review for specially for indian and Chinese food. also all staff kitchen staff and restaurent staff are well treated us and hotel ambience also properly maintained thank you all for your lovely support keep rocking cheers
