Fantastic/ Only the kitchen a disaster
To get to the city I would recommend a taxi, which costs about 10€.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the restaurant. Had that been the “Perfect Dinner”, only 3 points would have fallen . The potatoes were burnt ; what was declared as a Viennese veal cutlet was a millimeter-thick piece of meat disguised as a wafer ♀️ - and it was just a cutlet and not 2 pieces, as a Viennese cutlet is officially served - Price: 33€ !!!!
The edge of the plate usually belongs to the guest and not, as 40 years ago, to the sugar beet syrup or any herbal decoration.
My spaghetti was soaked in oil and there was nothing to taste of Parmesan !
We were disappointed with the starter, too. We had Carpaccio. Under the beautiful, wafer-thin beef fillet was a thick, tasteless layer of pesto , any Frenchman would have banged his hands together over his head . A vinaigrette would have been quite enough.
The receptionist that night was very nice , told us we could have let the food go back. The problem, what would have been served instead?.... !!!! If you can't manage that.
In addition, everything was very overpriced .
All together the restaurant is not recommended, at least not on this evening we were there.!!!
The hotel, the service and all the staff was otherwise great. We will book the Plaza again and again. Only the restaurant we will not visit again.

Not good but not so bad
At the fifth floor the outer door should be opened by card, but the card wasn’t working - Back again.
The room is very nice and quiet, but the cleaning is not as good as expected.
They change your towels, make the bed at empty the bins.
That’s it
We made a note in German that power should not be shut off, due to our cooling box.
Despite that it was shut off, and our food was too hot.
Next day we advised reception not to switch it off, and then we didn’t get any cleaning.
In general staff tries to be friendly, but not always with success, because they deny to talk / understand english.
I think it is a general attitude in Germany.
The male servant in the restaurant Sunday evening attitude was awful.
He passed us several times without asking us into the restaurant, thus the sign said “please wait”
So happy it was the last evening.
I can’t see myself visiting this place again, neither the hotel.

A great and unforgettable experience at this hotel.
The only thing I want to mention is the mattresses. They were a bit too soft in my opinion, which affected my sleeping comfort a bit. If this point is improved, this hotel is undoubtedly the perfect choice for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay. Despite this little detail I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Many thanks to the fantastic team that made this experience possible for me!"
