Un petit hotel confortable à un prix défiant toute concurrence
De passage dans cette belle ville de Schwabisch Hall que je recommande absolument, reseau wifi . Nous avions réservé l’hôtel du Blauer Bock. Nous aurions bien aimé y dîner, mais sans réservation pas de place. Nous avions choisi de manger sur la terrasse du Restaurant Sudhaus à coté du musé Wurth avec une belle vue dominante sur la ville.

Il est bien situé, mais il y a réellement somptueux
Schwabisch Hall est un endroit super, j'ai la chance d'avoir des clients juste à côté et j'ai apprécié ce séjour à chaque fois. Cet hôtel, nous avons donc réservé au Golden Adler était complet (là qu'il faut aller ! ) École est un hôtel cher et ne vaut pas son prix, donc nous avons décidé de tester cet hôtel.
- Et il est agréable, et a chambres uniques.
- C'est un établissement bien situé, sur l'autre côté du couloir Schwabish mais quand même accessible à pied du centre-ville.
- Les chambres sont bruyantes, ma chambre était dans la chambre au-dessus du restaurant, on peut entendre chaque mot prononcé en bas, et quand je dis litterly toutes les nouvelles.
- Les salles de bains sont de petite taille et il y avait une fuite dans la douche, qui n'a pas été réparé mais sont maintenues en contrôle de la part d'un seau - :) .
- Vous êtes en voiture, il faut donc aller au parking public dans un garage ou à la gare.
- Le petit déjeuner n'était pas mal, mais basique.
- Le tarif de 85 euros c'était trop élevé pour un séjour à cet hôtel. C'est le temps qu'il fait certains travaux d'entretien.

Small restaurant with room to improve.
Have been there several times with my customers because they offer interesting menus, but every time something was not ok. Once they forgot one dish, next time the ordered drink, but last time they did not want to receive us at 20:30h! We had reserved a table for 4 people business dinner and after a sightseeing walk through the old town we arrived 30 min. later than announced. Then we were told that as it was a hot day the kitchen has already been closed ("20:30pm!) and that they cannot serve us any more! They will never see us again and we will publish this unprofessional behaviuor to all business friends and visitors in Schwäbisch Hall!

Home away from home
What a wonderful guesthouse! We so enjoyed our stay, and the proprietor is just a gem -- very accommodating and friendly. This property is on the other side of the river from the center of the old town (less than 10 minutes on foot), and very near the train station (about a three minute walk). We loved this location because it was quiet and interesting and we might not have explored it otherwise.
Our three-bed room was very comfortable. Unusually large bathroom; one of the windowshades was missing which I imagine they'll fix soon. Gorgeous windows and lots of natural light. We slept great in the beds for both nights we were there, and housekeeping did tend to the room after the first night. The whole property has an air of calm and spaciousness about it.
The breakfast was excellent! Buffet style and really big selection. Tea and coffee available almost anytime; there was usually a fruit bowl out also. We stayed during a very unusual cold snap and the breakfast area was cold in the mornings; I doubt this would be an issue most other times of the year. Looked like they had an outdoor courtyard which would be a great place to eat breakfast during nicer weather.

Good restaurant, forget the hotel part
I have had a number of meals at the Blauer Bock restaurant. Some of their dishes are quite creative and somewhat outside of the usual Swabian cuisine on offer elsewhere. My experience is that the kitchen can be stretched to the limits with larger groups of guests. On one occasion, there were 12 of us, and the main courses came in two or three batches, leaving those served last to eat whilst those served earlier had long finished their meals. However, the quality of the food far offset this obvious faux pas. Last week, I tried to book a room at the hotel via the establishment's own web site and in German. Despite a follow-up email I never got a reply. Subsequently trying via a booking site which clearly listed my requested dates with rooms available, my submission was returned with a "fully booked" message. Not very professional.
