We were very pleased with our comfy big room, and friendly service. We arrived after the reception had already been closed, but access to keys was easy and made our check-in very convenient. Breakfast was simple nyt tasty. We would gladly come again!

Jeta is hostel, not a hotel. It lacks a lot of amenities and the area is not the friendliest

Jeta hotel is not a hotel and should not be advertised as a hotel. It’s a €100+ / night hostel without any amenities. Is you traveling for business beware, as there’s no safe deposit box in room. There’s no kettle, so you cannot prepare any tea/coffee in room. Hotel besides breakfast (very poor, I don’t recommend it), does not offer any food/ drinks or preparing any kind of meal. If you travel on Sunday, be careful, as most restaurants nearby are closed at 20:00, so you cannot get any food ( you will stay hungry until the morning ‍). Reception only works until 21:00, after that you are on your own. The owner speaks very poor broken English, his son ( younger brother?) speaks a bit better. Room views are on the big car house entrance, so it can get very noisy in the morning. On the plus side: room is big and fairly clean, but without air con. If you stay alone in double room you can only get 1 pillow! For the price you can get better accommodation!

vielen Dank für Ihre persönliche Meinung. Das Hotel Jeta ist ein Hotel Garni, das bedeutet das es kein Restaurant hat und nur Frühstück angeboten wird. Ein Safe sowie ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer ist nicht vorhanden. Dieses ist aber in vielen Hotels in Deutschland so. Es ist ein Standard in 4 Sterne-Hotels, allerdings werben wir nicht mit Sternen. Das die Restaurants am Sonntag um 20:00 Uhr rund um das Hotel schließen ist genauso wie "nur 1 Kissen" nicht richtig. Gerne gibt die Rezeption bei freundlicher Frage auch Auskunft über alles. Wenn Sie soviel Wert auf das, was Sie aufgeführt haben, warum haben Sie dann kein Hotel mit Ihren Wünschen gebucht ? Dieses liegt wohl daran, das solche Hotels auch einen deutlich höheren Preis hier in Hamburg haben.

Cheat prices and bad karma

On Hotel Jeta's homepage, a Comfort room cost €76. there was no mention of breakfast. therefore we wrote to the hotel. Big was our surprise when the room now cost €112 incl. It seemed to require an explanation: It was just like that and we had seen wrong!!!
The price of €76 is still on their side = it gives one a feeling of dishonesty, cheating and false marketing.
Hence this warning.
Of course we booked another hotel.

Best service ever

My daughter and I were stranded in Hamburg because of car trouble at 23 o’clock (11 pm) and the night staff took us in. We loved the room and the bathroom- it was nice and clean. The staff absolutely saved us and where kind and understanding. Service in top class

Absolutely amazing!

We were stranded in Hamburg due to car trouble at 23.00 (11pm) and the night staff were incredibly helpful and found us a room in no time. We were tired from the long drive and from waiting for 7 hours for help with the car and the staff were the friendly face we needed. Great stay and very nice - would absolutely recommend!
