Beautiful establishment that you should not hesitate to book.
Large, well-appointed bathroom with bathrobes, washcloth (which is very rare!), walk-in shower, and decorative objects.
Very friendly welcome.
I highly recommend this place which fully deserves its 3*.

Fantastic!
There are many pretty French villages in the area that are well worth a visit. I would definitely stay here again, but for a bit longer and explore the local area.
The owners are very friendly and speak good English. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed, a great place to de-stress!
With regards to an evening meal, make sure you check with the hotel if the restaurant is open. It does close on some evenings, particularly if it is early in the week and there aren't any other guests booked in that have requested an evening meal. There are restaurants in the nearby towns and villages though.
I very much look forward to staying here again!

Original hotel full of character
Every morning, over a sumptuous breakfast, our hostess would bring maps & leaflets, suggesting routes & attractions, which meant we visited many tiny gems of churches & villages that otherwise we would have missed.
All the rooms have different characters, with great attention to useful details such as lighting for reading, plugs for recharging & other things that can be so annoying if they are not there! Our only problem with the rooms was that the two upstairs rooms were partly under the eaves, so if you are tall like us you have to be very careful not to bump your head, which is not so relaxing.
We dined in the hotel on the one night the restaurant was open during our stay, & the food was excellent & original, but expensive wines.
Summing up - check which room you book if you are tall & find out in advance when the restaurant is open. Then I am sure you will enjoy your stay!
