One night stay while I attended a show in Toronto. Have done this many times before. I like the location and the hotel.

Airport Shuttle Scam, Smelly Room, Dirty Sheets

Where to start.. perhaps with the “Airport Shuttle”. This is, in fact, a scam. They proudly state “Airport Shuttle” as a feature of the property - but when you arrive at the airport you learn that they only offer it for FOUR HOURS twice a day. Oh, and you have to book it 24hrs in advance. Unheard of for an airport hotel, and a shameless cost cutting move. On arrival, after paying for an Uber/Taxi, the lobby is fine. That’s where it ends. My room had a notable smell, the desk lamp flickered and then died, there was a hair on my sheets along with an unidentified ?bug carcass. I don’t know what to say. I’ve stayed in many a Garden Inn, and many others like it as an elite with Hilton, Bonvoy and god knows how many others - never an experience like this. I feel tricked by the reviews and will never stay here again. I have no idea how this meets brand standards as a Garden Inn. The “Hilton Garden Inn Promise”? Yeah, not worth the paper it’s printed on.

The hotel was very nice from the rooms to the lobby as well as the pool. Extended parking has stoped since Covid, well Covid is over and this would be a great option. Also found the hotel a little further away from the airport that other offered hotels. I think we need to put things back and quit blaming Covid. There was ample parking and if this hotel offered extended parking my family would book it in the future

Difficult stay. Aggressive and confrontational front desk lady who doesn’t understand customer service. The server at the restaurant was awesome! And finally, the shuttle driver was lazy and dropped us at arrivals instead of departures!!
