Nice place to stay for a walking enthusiast

Nice and clean hotel. It is near the river with a long and wide walking/running area. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Arriving at the hotel with luggage for the first time is tricky, because the building is directly on the side of a functioning street, with only 4 parking lot.

Overpriced, in the center of the city, felt safe and staff were all kind. However, staff knew nothing about anything. I got blank faces repeatedly about suggestions where to go, what to eat etc. Food at restaurant was overpriced.

Nice hotel with superb location

Hotel is strategically located in Bandar Seri Begawan. Easy access to mall nearby. Kampong ayer is just your walking distance. Close to SOAS mosque. I love the smell of the hotel lobby. Nice modern interior. Room is kept cleaned. All level provided with water filtered. I make my reservation through their whatapps group . I stayed at room 102 check in 20th July. Definately will come back.

Excellent Value and Location

I chose this hotel because of how close it was to everything in the downtown, and how close to it was to the Royal Regalia museum and the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. The staff is really the selling point of this hotel. They were kind and understanding, helping my partner and I get around town and to all the spots on our itinerary. The front desk staff were happy to call taxis or call the local Uber-esque service in Brunei, Dart drivers, to help us. They also helped us get to the Post Office and made recommendations for the best times to visit certain mosques in the city. They also allowed us to check our bags after check out to be picked up as we left the city for a nighttime tour. The rooms were clean, but it was easy to hear the neighboring rooms water drainage from showers or use of the basin. The room TV supports use of streaming services, but if you don’t have your password handy, you’ll be at the mercy of free services. We had a small leak in the washlet attachment to the toilet, but nothing so egregious that we complained about it. Sadly, our room was above the party room, and one night during our stay, it was loud until 10:30 pm, but after that it was quiet. There are more luxurious hotels in Brunei, but this was an overall good fit.

The hotel offers good service and is in a great location, making it very convenient for travelers. The food at Yelo Cafe is excellent—definitely worth trying. The staff are friendly and have a great attitude, which added to the positive experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the Wi-Fi was a big disappointment as it didn’t work at all, which can be frustrating for guests who need internet access.
