Texas history

Houston may have one eye on the stars but it’s got plenty of history to explore on the ground too. The George Ranch Historical Park traces 100 years of Texas history through tours and interactive experiences. Learn how Texas won its independence at the San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield, where you can even try your hand at loading a cannon.
